Crapette Pro collects no data at all. Here is what that means.
This policy explains what Crapette Pro does with your data. The short version: it collects nothing. Crapette Pro is a two-player card game for iPhone and iPad — it doesn't need to know who you are to work, and it's built that way.
What we collect
Nothing. No account, no name, no statistics, no advertising, no third-party analytics, no crash reporting. Nothing about the way you play leaves your device.
The app's App Store listing says the same thing, in Apple's own words: Data Not Collected.
What stays on your device
The game remembers things, but they stay with you:
- Your current game (card positions and move history), so you can resume where you left off
- Game counters, such as games played, wins and losses
- Your settings, such as display and gameplay options
None of this is transmitted anywhere. It travels only with your own iCloud backup, if you use one, under Apple's terms rather than mine. Deleting the app deletes this data with it, and you can remove an individual saved game at any time from within the app.
When the app uses the network
You never need the network to play. The app connects for one thing only: the purchase.
In-app purchases
The optional one-time purchase, Unlimited Deals, which opens new deals beyond the ten free ones, is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. The App Store is contacted when you open the purchase screen, not before. Payment details and receipts are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy — we never see or store your payment information.
What we don't collect
Crapette Pro does not collect your name, email address, account credentials, location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access, browsing history, or any health or financial information. It contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting service — in fact, no third-party code at all.
Data retention and deletion
There is nothing to retain on our side, because nothing is collected. Data stored on your device stays there until you delete the app or remove a specific saved game.
Children's privacy
Crapette Pro is suitable for all ages. Since the app collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from a child either, whatever their age. If you're a parent and have a question about this, contact us using the details below.
Your rights
Rights over personal data — access, correction, deletion, objection — apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none: there is nothing to look up, nothing to export and nothing to erase.
